Aya Kamiki

Aya Kamiki (Kamiki Aya) is a blues rock artist born September 10, 1985 in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. She currently resides in Osaka, and is currently signed with the Giza Studio recording label. She speaks moderate Chinese and because so, she has a notable fanbase in China.

Aya learned to play the piano when she was 4 years old. In junior high school, she began singing live. Influenced by punk rock, she also learned how to play the guitar.

From 2003 to 2004, Aya was part of the independent record label FLME (For Life Music Entertainment) using the stage name KLIM. She released her first two singles "Breath" and "W.H.Y?"

In 2005, Aya released her two mini-albums "CONSTELLATION" and "ROCK ON" from the independent record label WEED.

Aya's singing career was mainly active in Osaka, where she garnered positive results. Her voice was full of force that it was part of her reputation. She made appearances in music and fashion magazines, which caught people's attention.

In 2006, Aya signed on with Giza Studio and released her first major label single "Communication Break" on March 15th. On April 12th, her second single "Pierrot" was released. The song was respectively written and composed by B'z members Koshi Inaba and Tak Matsumoto, although the lyrics in Aya's version were slightly modified. It was released on the same day as the B'z single "ゆるぎないものひとつ" (Yuruginaimono Hitotsu), which contained "Pierrot" as its 2nd Beat (B-side). The single reached 9th place on the Oricon charts. Her third single "Mou Kimi Dake wo Hanashitari wa Shinai" peaked at the 11th place, and her first full album "Secret Code" debuted at 5th place. In order to promote Secret Code's release, Aya held two mini-concerts. One was as "Black Kamiki" and was performed at Tower Records in Shibuya. The other (later on the same day), was as "White Aya" and was performed at HMV in Shibuya. Entrance was free, provided that you had purchased Secret Code at the corresponding store.

Penyanyi yang muncul selepas era musik ala2 Avril lavigne meletup dan boleh di kategorikan sebagai Avril Jepun.. kerana style muzik dorang ni hampir sama.. dengarkan Pierrot dalam album ini.. muzik yang segar dan tidak lah statik sangat muzik punknya.. kreatif dalam susunan lagu..

wah.rancak sekali amoi ni buat album.. setahun selepas album secret code, aya kamiki muncul lagi dengan album baru, dengan susunan muzik yang lebih catchy dan menarik..antara lagu2 yang menarik perhatian saya dalam album ini ialah 'tears' dan forever more. tears- sebuah lagu blues rock yang boleh membuatkan anda ikut menggoyangkan kepala anda.. hehehe tidak percaya? cari la album ni berhampiran anda.. maksud saya di alam siber.. kalau tidak jumpa di kedai!!

1. Are You Happy Now? (10 September 2008)

album ni masih baru lagi.. (belum habis lagi dengar!! hehe) cuma.. komen saya.. video clip untuk lagu ni 'Are you happy now?.. ok la.. ala.. remaja kan.. mau memberontak saja kerjanya..haa tu.. rambut pun dah mau jadi Avril tu.. hihi..

memang tak ada solo2 melampau2 atau riff2 ganas dalam album2 amoi ni.. yang penting.. just shut up and listen.. !! Rekomen untuk pengemar Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson dan yang seangkatan dengannya.. Maaf.. Britney Spears tidak termasuk dalam kategori ini..
